This is a first edition, first issue (with the price corrected iwith over-stamping on the page before the half title) of the short story collection by Robert Louis Stevenson. The collection is comprised of three short stories, ” The Beach of Falesá”, “The Bottle Imp” and “The Isle of Voices” and contains some of the author’s last writing before his death the following year. The book has 27 plates of illustrations (with an index), including a color map, lithographically printed, corresponding to the first story. Binding with some light rubbing and bumping to extremities and hinges of the spine. Some light stains to the front and back boards. Spine sunned. Interior with with starting at the gutters of interior covers. Light age toning to the edges of pages. Spine slightly cocked. Binding in good-, interior in good condition overall. g- to g. Hardcover.
