(vii) 256pp. Green pebbled leather with elaborate gilt ruling and tooling along the edges of the covers and to the spine. All egdes in gilt. Gilt dentelles. The frontispiece features an engraved portrait of the author, with its original tissue guard. The publication is a collection of various works by Tennyson, which had been published over the previous 25 years by Moxon. Signed and dated in ink at the front free endpaper by the previous owner Olive Talbot. Binding with some rubbing to the hinges of the spine, and some light staining to the back cover. Corners rubbed. Interior with some minor water staining along the edges of the endpapers. Binding in good, interior in very good+ condition overall. g to vg+. Hardcover.
