Graf had returned to Munich after W.W.I. He participated in the revolutionary movement and worked for the magazine “Simplicissimus.” Here he published his first stories about Bavarian peasants. A compilation of these stories was first published in 1927: “Das bayrische Dekameron.” With twenty-eight illustrations as headpieces for each story. Contains list of Graf publications with Graf’s New York address at rear. Printer’s logo on verso. Text in German, Gothic script. Binding with light sunning, light foxing and rubbed, light wear to edges of binding. Somewhat browned endpapers and lightly age-toned block. Good- to good condition. Hardcover. (51019) $95
