Filled with color and b/w prints, as well as numerous fold-outs. This most valuable and comprehensive representation of Japanese painting contains an extensive bibliography, glossary, and index. Slight discoloration along fore-edge of slipcase, and closed tear along upper deck. Spines of bindings are slightly sunned with gold lettering partly faded on second volume.
