The French text is a translation of the English edition published a year earlier (in 1971). Barnett Newman is considered Mark Rothko’s spiritual brother. Both were born in Eastern Europe, both died in 1970, and both worked on the somewhat same theoretical plane. Very good . Softcover. (51681) $75
