Illustrated with reproductions of photographs of ancient documents from the Jewish Colony at Elephantine. Edited with a historical introduction by Emil G. Kraeling. With two additional items laid in: 1) Business reply envelope to the “American Association for Bikur Cholim Hospital, Jerusalem” with Orlinsky’s address label on back of envelope. 2) 8 page program of the 14th annual conference of the “AJS” which was held in Boston in 1982.
