Original 3/4 vellum over black paper covered boards, with gold-stamped decoration on front cover, and black lettering on spine. Title-page in red lettering. “This presentation edition of On My Way has been especially printed for the authors and other friends of Horace Liveright. The edition is limited to 1000 copies, none of them for sale.” Book in its original burgundy slipcase, with title-label laid on front board. Fascinating work being a diary written by the famous American cartoonist between September 1st 1925 and March 1st 1926. It is profusely illustrated with numerous in-text b/w drawings along with 17 full-page line and 20 full-page halftone illustrations. Some edgewear on slipcase with rubbing along edges and top badly taped. Black lettering somewhat faded on spine.
