The poem serves as a memorial tribute to the deceased poet Arthur Henry Hallam, a close friend of Tennyson, and is written in iambic tetrameter. Binding with some light rubbing to corners and head & tail of the spine. Light scratches and smudging to covers. Interior with light offsetting to endpapers, half-title, and light foxing along the right edge of the interior back cover. Binding and interior in overall very good+ condition. vg+. Hardcover.
