Ancient Formal Logic [Studies in Logic and the Foundations of Mathematics]

Bochenski, Józef Maria. Ancient Formal Logic [Studies in Logic and the Foundations of Mathematics]. Amsterdam: North-Holland Publishing Company, 1951. First edition. Octavo. VI, [4], 122pp. Original printed wrappers. Remarkable work in which the author aimed to collect some of the data available in the state of science of Bochenski’s times and to arrange them in a kind of outline, which showed forth some of our indebtedness to Greek Logicians, and allowed the reader to see how their results were reached. Spine and edges slightly darkened. Very minor age-toning along paper margin. Wrappers in overall good, interior in very good condition. g. Softcover. (32432) $65
