We get it. Maybe the binding is too tight. Maybe the smell is wrong (too musty? not musty enough?).
Or maybe — just maybe — you accidentally ordered a first edition of Moby Dick when you meant to order a paperback.

Whatever the reason, here’s how returns work at IseeBooks.store.

Important: Shipping costs are non-refundable — unless we made a mistake (wrong book, missing pages, etc.).

Think of it as buying a coffee for the mail carrier. They work hard.

Step 1: Email Us

Contact us at returns@iseebooks.store with your order number and a quick note.

Include photos if the book has issues — it helps us see what you see.

Step 2: Pack & Ship

We’ll send you return instructions. Pack the book carefully — bubble wrap is your friend.

Pro tip: Take a photo of the book before you seal the box.

Step 3: Get Your Refund

Once we receive and inspect the book, we’ll refund your purchase price within 10 business days.

Refund goes back to your original payment method.

Standard Used Books
(under $100)

  • 14 days to change your mind
  • Book must be in same condition as received
  • You pay return shipping
  • Original shipping costs not refunded

Rare & Collectible Books
($100 or more)

  • 14 days — same window, but please be extra careful
  • Return in exactly the same condition (photograph everything!)
  • You pay return shipping + insurance
  • Original shipping costs not refunded
  • 15% restocking fee possible for pure “buyer’s remorse”

Suspect it’s not authentic?

If you think the book is a forgery, a misrepresented edition, or not what we claimed — tell us within 30 days.

If we agree (or an expert confirms it), you get a full refund. And yes, we’ll cover return shipping in this case. We’re not monsters.
