Separated hardboard (MDF) covers housing three loose string-tied softcover volumes and and total of loose plates. As originally issued, the set contains a total of 75 plates of finely-produced b/w photographic reproductions of images of English domestic architecture (25 per volume). Each image is tipped onto heavy cardstock with uncut edges. Unfortunately this set is missing 39 plates (5 in vol.1, all of vol.2, and 9 from vol.3). Each of the string-tied volumes contains introductory and descriptive text corresponding to each of the images. Each page of the softcover volumes, and all loose plates contain the ink stamp of a previous owner at the bottom right corners. Pages and plates throughout with minor age toning and some with occasional minor smudges. Collection in very good- condition overall. vg-. Hardcover. (48371) $95
