“Moments in Greece” is Yiorgos Kordakis’ first book. It is a collection of striking b/w photographs from all around Greece. According to Penelope Petsini, “Yiorgos Kordakis transfigures the commonplace placing the emphasis on the expressive and metaphoric dimension of photography, resisting any simple equation of truthfulness to truth. Kordakis does not seek to orchestrate the world; he perceives it as being already orchestrated.”
